A New and Exact Map of the Dominions of the King of Great Britain on the Continent of North America
This map by Herman Moll, drawn in 1711 and showing all England's colonies in North America, filled the need for a new map after the English, under the lead of Colonel Francis Nicholson, conquered the French province of Acadia in 1710. The map shows the renamed Acadia as Nova Scotia, or New Scotland.
